Get to know Dentist Dr. Alan Sassson, who serves patients in Brookline, Massachusetts.

A seasoned dentist, Dr. Sasson is the Founder of Boston Smile Center, a leading full-service dental office in the greater Boston area. The center has a team of skilled, well-respected dentists specializing in periodontics, endodontics and dental implant surgery, in addition to general dentistry.

Educated in the United States, he obtained his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry at Boston University, and received his certification in Oral Implantology from Brookdale Hospital in New York. 

An eminent figure in the dental community of Boston, Dr. Sasson has held various leadership positions in several dental societies. He is currently an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, the  International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics (Fellow), the International Association of Orthodontics, and the World Clinical Laser Institute.

Moreover, he has made significant contributions to the field of dentistry through his publications in prestigious peer-reviewed journals such as The Laryngoscope. He has also held faculty appointments at esteemed institutions such as the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, the Forsyth Institute, and the Medical Research Foundation of Boston.

Apart from his clinical work, Dr. Sasson is also the Founder of the Career in Dental Assisting Institute, a teaching facility for the training of professional dental assistants. The institute offers a fast-track 10-week program that allows graduates to become licensed in the State of Massachusetts.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

In his free time, Dr. Sasson enjoys spending time with his family and indulging in various hobbies such as practicing yoga, playing golf, and relaxing in his hammock.
