Dr. Paula Rochelle completed her Doctor of Naturopathy from Trinity School of Natural Health in 1999. She is board certified in Traditional Naturopathy by the American Naturopathic Medical Association. Dr. Rochelle completed her board certification in Naturopathic Endocrinology in 2002. She spent 3 years on contract to NeuroScience Laboratories as part of a team researching neurotransmitters. She is the director of 2 multidisciplinary alternative medicine clinics. She holds certifications in Acupuncture from the American Society of Acupuncture, in nutrition from the American Association of Nutritional Consultants, and is currently certifying in functional neurology and functional medicine. In 2006, Dr. Rochelle crashed an airplane and as a result focuses her work on assessing, and correcting brain trauma. She is the formulator of ASuRA brain – a product designed to open up the aquaporins in the brain enabling the brain to detoxify. She is a member of ISNR (the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research) and IAFNR (International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation). She is also a co-founder of Nucleic Products, a nutritional company which formuates high quality, cost-effect supplements for health care practitioners.

There are number of "causes" for teeth grinding however, the most common cause for younger children is a parasitic infestation. You might consider doing a mild parasite cleanse. If she is exposed to animals, you might consider putting them through a cleanse as well! READ MORE
How effective is turmeric to cure a ringworm infection?
Actually, tumeric is quite effective for ringworm. Mix a small amount with water and apply topically (preferably with a q-tip) to the affected area. Tumeric is a great anti-fungal which is what ringworm is. As far as prevention, normally 500 mg daily is effective however, you might want to check personally with your health care practitioner as there are some conditions that tumeric shouldn't be taken on a long-term basis, such as the predisposition to kidney stones. How safe are natural and ayurvedic medicines to treat constipation?
There many natural remedies that can treat constipation. Sometimes is as simple as adding a probiotic to you regimen. Other times, it requires looking at the liver and gallbladder which can cause constipation. I would suggest that you find a health professional that can assess why you are having the constipation. I would NOT recommend that you take products that contain Cascara Sagrada on a long term basis to resolve this. READ MORE
Can natural remedies treat insomnia?
There are several reasons that you may have insomnia. Differentiation needs to be made between difficulty going to sleep vs. staying asleep. The issues may be lack of a neurotransmitter called gaba, to anxiety issues treated best with l-theanine, to low serotonin. Identifying which one of the pathways is not functioning properly is the best approach to correcting insomnia.
