Healing of the bone graft has 3 phases. During the first 3-4 days you can expect pain and swelling antibiotics and pain meds are given to the patients to help with initial healing. Phase two will consist of closure of the surgery site and new bone formation. That phase takes approximately 1 month. The final phase is the new bone's final formation and reorganization. Which toothpaste is best for gum recession?
Gum recession has a tendency to create tooth sensitivity. I recommend Sensodyne due to small abrasive particles and potassium nitrate to relieve sensitivity. Ask your dentist or hygienist for brushing tips with gum recession and always use a soft toothbrush. READ MORE

Since implant placement is a surgical procedure the pain and discomfort are anticipated.
