Dr. Sodhi earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign in 2004. He then went on to complete his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital, followed by his fellowship in hand surgery at the Hand Center of San Antonio.
Dr. Sodhi’s extensive training has allowed him with the fine technical skills to effectively perform hand and limb reconstruction, minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder/elbow/wrist, and complex laceration/fracture repair. He understands the complex nature of the human nerve and circulatory system, which allows him to precisely repair limb/tissue damage while preserving the delicate framework of nerves and vessels that nourish and power the healing of the human body.
To Dr. Sodhi, orthopedic surgery is more than just a specialty in medicine – it allows him the opportunity to pursue his talents and serve his passion: “I love tinkering in the garage and working in the operating room. He helped soldiers in missions throughout the world, including Iraq during Desert Storm and Haiti.
