He remained at SUNY and acquired his medical degree in 1989 from the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. Dr. Goldman continued his educational journey with a residency in obstetrics and gynecology conducted at the same teaching venue (1989-1993).

The doctor became board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health. 

Dr. Goldman is licensed to practice in Florida and Illinois. He also attained the coveted titles of Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
