The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after she earned her medical degree from the  American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Sint Maarten in 2007. She then relocated to the United States, performing her residency in family medicine at York Hospital in Pennsylvania from 2009 until 2012.

Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Paz is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
