Dr. Zhang is a gentle and caring dentist treating patients of all ages, from babies to seniors, at A to Z Dental with offices in Richton Park, Flossmoor, and Chicago Heights, Illinois. Her skill set is amazing and enables her to perform a remarkably wide range of dental procedures with assurance, gentleness, and expertise. Regardless of the severity/complexity of patients and their dental problems, she has the ability to provide them with excellent oral health and beautiful smiles.

Having been practicing dentistry for over two decades, Dr. Zhang has treated tens of thousands of patients in China, Canada, and the United States. She has acquired a very broad base of expertise in every specialty, including oral surgery, periodontics, orthodontics, implants, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and more. She is a senior master provider for Fastbraces, a distinction held by only a select few doctors in the whole world.

Prior to the start of her career, she pursued a formal education in China, earning a Master of Science degree in Periodontology in 2001. She then pursued a formal education at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, where she attained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.

Committed to lifelong professional development while striving for excellence, she maintains involvement with the American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Association, the American Implant Association, and the Illinois Dental Association.

Taking dentistry to a new level, Dr. Zhang is committed to continuously improving her knowledge and clinical skills; and also in keeping up with the most advanced dental techniques and technology through continuing education. It should come as no surprise then, that dentistry is the great love of her life, a love which she keeps with a passionate commitment and loyalty.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

Moving forward, Dr. Zhang sees her practice continuing to do more community work with her current three offices. She wants to improve her skills and become a better dentist. She also wants to implement her philosophy in her practices so that she can help more people.
