About

Feeling overwhelmed? Don’t feel like yourself lately? Stop struggling and trying to white-knuckle your way through life when we can do this together.

I’m Jessica Beachkofsky, MD (Dr. B), a board-certified psychiatrist in Florida. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma disorders and helping people successfully navigate life’s big hurdles and challenges. Combining medications with therapy provides quicker, more lasting results. And seeing adults in a virtual clinic with evening and lunch-time options means we can have appointments without a lot of disruption for you.

If you’re new to the idea of medication or if you’ve had a less than ideal experience with meds in the past, let's talk!

You don’t have to feel rushed or pressured to make a decision about medications, and you don’t have to just take what I tell you to. Working with me means shared decision making once you feel you have the information that you need to make a choice that aligns with your values. When you feel good about your treatment, it’s more effective (and usually works faster!). And I always combine therapy with medications to ensure you get the most out of our time together.

Ready to get back to the YOU you’ve been missing?

Whether it’s those tough grad school classes, a high pressure career (or career change), or the challenges of parenthood, we can work through this to find the treatment solutions (meds + therapy) that lead you to the best version of you!

What makes working with me different? We'll work together to reach your treatment goals. Having a strong, positive connection with me, means better treatment results for you. Let's appropach your problems as a team. (It might even be fun!)

I've been a practicing psychiatrist for over 10 years and love working with motivated patients who want to learn more about their brains and skills to maximize mental wellness. After over a decade in the Air Force, working in a big hospitals and large clinics, I'm thrilled to run my own small private practice 100% virtually. I'm optimistic and enthusiastic about engaging in your mental wellness and run my clinic on knowledge and insight. Now is the perfect time to reach out to me!
