Experienced Emergency Medicine Physician and Entrepreneurial Leader on a Mission to Transform Healthcare

Dr. Arvind Chakravarthy, a distinguished emergency medicine physician and visionary entrepreneur, is on a mission to revolutionize the healthcare industry. With a steadfast dedication to the quadruple aim of medicine, he is determined to enhance population health, elevate patient experience, reduce per capita costs, and boost provider satisfaction.

Dr. Chakravarthy’s impressive career spans various leadership roles and impactful contributions to the healthcare sector. As the Founder and CEO of Spirit Hospice of Georgia, a leading Home Hospice and Palliative Care company, he has transformed end-of-life care across seven counties in Metro Atlanta. 

Moreover, Dr. Chakravarthy’s visionary approach is evident through his co-founding of GetFitMed, a groundbreaking regenerative medicine platform that leverages cutting-edge modalities to optimize health and prevent disease. His company utilizes peptide therapy, medical weight loss, and stem cell therapy as the three pillars to create longevity. He has also served as an Emergency Room Physician at various healthcare facilities, including Advent Health and Piedmont Health systems – to name a few, and as a Medical Officer for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), contributing to the Covid-19 response efforts.

A trailblazer in the field, Dr. Chakravarthy earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor in April 2006. Following this, he pursued a Doctor of Medicine Degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine, where he was trained to enter Emergency Medicine residency across multiple hospital sites around Metro Detroit. 

Finally, Dr. Chakravarthy completed a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Healthcare Management at the University of Texas – Dallas in May 2023. During this time, he also became a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society, an accolade reserved for the top 7.5% of the cohort.

Furthering his training, Dr. Chakravarthy performed his residency in emergency medicine at several hospitals through Drexel University College of Medicine in Metro Philadelphia, from July 2010 to July 2013. 

His involvement in esteemed organizations and conferences, including Functional/Integrative Medicine Training through Empire, Medical Executive Committee – Wellstar West Georgia, Sepsis Committee – Wellstar West Georgia, Patient Satisfaction Committee – Wellstar West Georgia, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee – Wellstar Hospital System, ACEP Directors Conference, and  Studer Conference, underscores his continuous pursuit of excellence and innovation in healthcare delivery.

Board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Chakravarthy is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). Additionally, he holds certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). 

On a more personal note, Dr. Chakravarthy is an avid health enthusiast, spending his time outside of work regularly at the gym or with his family consisting of wife, son, and two puppies. His hobbies include weightlifting and tennis, and he speaks several languages, including English, Tamil, and Hindi.
