Dr. Steven S. Shayani has been the Medical Director of Long Island Heart Associates since 1994. Recently appointed The Mount Sinai Medical Center Director of Outpatient Services for Long Island, Dr. Shayani is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Shayani is also a distinguished Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Steven Shayani specializes in atherosclerosis, cardiac arrhythmia, metabolic syndrome, hypercholesterolemia, congestive heart failure, and myocardial infarction and has lectured extensively on these topics.
