Jeffrey Sherman, MD, is the proud owner and leading physician of a private practice located in Los Angeles, California. He has nearly fifteen years of experience in his field of gastroenterology, and is additionally affiliated with the Cedars Sinai Medical Center. After graduating from UCLA in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology, Dr. Sherman attended the University of Southern California School of Medicine. Dr. Sherman performed his internship at the Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center, followed by a residency in internal medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. With a passion for continued learning, he also completed a clinical fellowship in digestive diseases at the renowned UCLA. Since 2002, Dr. Sherman has served as an attending physician in outpatient clinics and rounds for the UCLA gastroenterology fellowship training program. In 2003, Dr. Sherman served on the Board of Directors for the Crohn?s and Colitis Foundation of America, and continues to devote his time to the organization. In addition, Dr. Sherman has been an active member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopists since 1998.
