Thereafter, she completed her residency in internal medicine at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers), where she served as Chief Resident. From there, she went on to perform her fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Subsequent to her training, the doctor attained board certification in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
