Lilly started her career practicing Emergency Medicine. After almost a decade in the ER, Parllaku left the world renowned PENN Hospital (Hospital of University of Pennsylvania/HUP) and took her love of procedures and her long standing interest in Dermatology and branched into Dermatology. Her experience in both specialities has equipped her with a broad knowledge base of many common and uncommon conditions as well as excellent procedural skills. Lilly's foundation allows her the insight and ability to look at each patient with a holistic approach.
Lilly specializes in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Her medical passions are skin cancer treatment/prevention, acne, rashes, and autoimmune skin conditions.
In addition to her devotion to the medical side of Dermatology, Lilly is routinely recognized for her cosmetic talent. Her artistic eye and injection skills have allowed her to master the ability to enhance natural beauty discreetly–patients leave looking and feeling their best without anyone knowing or suspecting a procedure was performed. Her finesse for subtle enhancements that yield dramatic improvements have patients traveling out of state to see her.

- Proper dermatology begins with developing a strong relationship with her patients. She grew up on a farm with 3 older brothers, tough upbringing taught her to be hardworking and empathetic to help people face challenging times and to create options with her patients in which they are part of the decision making.

- Developed mentoring program at Penn ED (HUP), allowing PA students to shadow and rotate amongst the providers during their clinical rotations. Mentors pre-PA students by helping with patient contact hours, applications, and ensuring they are excellent candidates by the time they apply for an advanced degree in the medical field.

Having graduated from the PA program at Drexel University in 2012, she honed her skills for 7 years at the Penn Emergency Department, where she successfully performed numerous procedures and treated a wide array of skin disorders.
Known for her meticulous approach to laceration repair, Lilly earned the affectionate moniker of the “lac queen” among her colleagues. Not only dedicated to her own growth, she also established an internship program for PA students at the Penn ED, showcasing her commitment to nurturing future healthcare professionals.
A devoted member of various prestigious organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, she is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Her thirst for knowledge continues to lead her to frequent continuing education seminars; she regularly attends ‘Philly Derm’ organized by renowned dermatological experts. She also stays abreast of the nuances of cosmetic dermatology, ensuring her techniques result in the best patient outcomes.
Reflecting on her journey, Lilly shared, “My fascination with dermatology blossomed during my time as a medical assistant in a respected dermatology practice. The intricate balance of medical expertise and artistry required in dermatological care captivated me. I realized that dermatology was not just about treating the physical; it encompassed the aesthetic and emotional aspects too.”
When she’s not enhancing patients’ lives, Lilly finds solace in exploring new cultures and savoring diverse cuisines with her family. Married to a native Albanian restaurateur, Lilly, alongside her two daughters, embodies a harmonious blend of professional dedication and personal fulfillment.
