A qualified dermatologist, Dr. Kolb joined the team of professionals at Olmsted Medical Center – Rochester Southeast Clinic in 2020. His interests include adult and pediatric skin care, including but not limited to: psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, acne, rosacea, infectious diseases, and skin cancers.

Originally from Plainview, Minnesota, Dr. Kolb received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. He graduated medical school from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic medicine in 2016, and completed his internship at Larkin Community Hospital in Florida in 2017. He then performed his residency in dermatology at Orange Park Medical Center in 2020, after which he joined the staff at Olmsted Medical Center.

Interested in many facets of medical and surgical dermatology, he is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and the American Osteopathic Association.

Furthermore, he is board-certified through the American Academy of Dermatology. The AAD is an organization that provides board certification to qualified doctors who specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the skin, hair, and nails.

Passionate about dermatology medical education, Dr. Kolb is the creator and host of the Grenz Zone Dermatology Podcast. He strives to build a strong foundation of dermatology knowledge for dermatology providers, having won rave reviews. It landed him on the cover of The Dermatologist magazine and its accompanying article, titled “Multimedia’s Influence on Dermatology Education.” He was also voted the 2020 “Resident of the Year in Dermatology” by the American Osteopathic Foundation.
