In Esposito’s case, she had been struggling with her disease far before she knew what she was dealing with. When she found out that she had celiac disease, it was already too late, as the disease had claimed a tooth and had severely damaged her small intestines. However, the star got back on the horse, and is now an advocate for celiac patients, hosting a website and lifestyle program where everyone can obtain valuable information about controlling their symptoms and coexisting with their disease.
