Yes. An x ray will show an impacted tooth.

Depending on the material, if it is a basic rein filling we cure or set in office with a light

Yes when they get infected the entire side of your head can hurt. See your dentist and/or MD to rule out anything else that could be going on.

Yes my patients are in their trays 22+ hours a day
Is a white filling better than silver?
I personally wouldn't say it's better, just more aesthetic. I feel at times the amalgams last longer, the silver fillings.
How do you stop a cavity from getting worse?
You can't really stop a cavity... but the more fluoride the better and keep it clean. A filling can stop a cavity

Does gum sensitivity ever go away?
It is usually tooth sensitivity near the gum line. Use a sensitive toothpaste and no whitening products to see if this will help. See a DDS to evaluate area for any caries.
How do you clean wisdom teeth holes?
You can usually rinse or irrigate gently with an intraoral syringe. Depending on how long ago they were removed and healing... Discuss with your dentist or oral surgeon

I have had several patients with ear aches due to wisdom teeth. I would check with MD to have ears evaluated. May need wisdom teeth removed, talk to your dentist.
