Your doctor will consider ordering an MRI of the brain for persistent or recurrent headaches, change in headache type/location, or a new headache. A headache with a neurological deficit will definitely require an MRI. A headache with a history of cancer would be a good indication for MRI. In general, your doctor will evaluate your headache history, examine you, and determine if an MRI brain should be ordered. If cancer or infection are considered, MRI brain with and without contrast would be ordered.

It depends on the fluoroscopy time mostly. It also depends on a setting of pulsed versus continuous. Finally it also depends on the thickness of the body part being evaluated. Most states now require some information in the report. As a general rule 1 minute of fluoroscopy is associated with 5-10 mGy of radiation.

This should be discussed with your doctor. Both of these procedures involve radiation to the abdomen and pelvis. We try to avoid radiation throughout pregnancy, but particularly the first 8 weeks of pregnancy. The most likely outcome is still a healthy baby. Please discuss with your Ob/Gyn physician. The CT dose was likely around 5 mSv and the fluoroscopy study was likely a similar dose. Those studies will likely record the exact dose you received. This will likely be recorded in the radiologist report.
Can CT scans cause thyroid problems?
