Of course, we have to consider that the couple is having sex at least 3 times weekly and not using any form of contraception. My advice is to be patient and wait. If after a year you still cannot achieve your goal then you can start an investigation.

Is spirulina safe during pregnancy?
Not having any study done clearing the way for the use of that product, I will definitely stay away from it.

probably will be a better form of contraception. Of course there are other methods. I strongly recommend that you discuss the matter with your gynecologist for other options.
