There are a number of natural techniques that help relieve sinus conditions. When the condition has reached the stage of infection it ismore difficult to treat, but many people can respond safely without antibiotics; some will need stronger intervention. When I treat sinus infections, I typically will use Cranial Therapy, lymph massage, breathing techniques, acupressure or acupuncture and herbology, often using Rx. Pinellia and Rx. Glycyrrhiza as an antiphlegmatic. Steam showers and hot compresses with lemon essential oil is also helpful. Underlying causes such as Spleen Qi deficiency can be addressed.
