Radiofrquency is a safe procedure when done by a qualified experiened provider for establshed medical necessity.

I am not familiar with the use of acupunctue for the treatment of varicose veins. I would inquire with an acupunturist.

I do not use general anesthesia for varicose vein procedures. I have patients take a mild sedative 2 hours before the start time, so they are relaxed, but awake.

Yes, radiofrequency endovenous ablation is an excellent treatment for varicose veins in the presence of ultrasound documented reflux. There are other treatments for veins without proven reflux.
