Dr. Lopez embarked on his successful medical career by earning his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1980. He continued his training in the United States with an internship at Richmond University Medical Center in 1981, followed by a diagnostic radiology residency at Cook County Health and Hospitals System in 1984. Dr. Lopez further honed his skills through a fellowship in body imaging, cross-sectional imaging, and MRI at St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1985.
