Here is how we do it:
We do not participate with any health insurance (medical insurance). We are a no-insurance medical clinic, which allows us to focus on what is best for you, not what insurance administrators think is best. (If you have insurance you can still come see us. http://www.stfhealth.com/common-questions/)
We are a direct-pay practice. That means you pay us at the time of service--just like you pay for most things. http://www.stfhealth.com/online-prices/)
We don't rush appointments. Our appointment times are longer than they are in most clinics. Getting to know you and discussing your health care thoroughly are the first steps to taking good care of you. (One result of not rushing is that we rarely run behind.)
*Direct-pay is sometimes also referred to as cash-only, private-pay, third-party-free, or direct care. We are not a retainer, membership, concierge, or boutique type of practice. Those who pay directly for their own health care are sometimes referred to as self-pay or self-insured.

I feel sudden dizziness. Why is this?
I would recommend a physical exam and evaluation with lab tests.
My symptoms started two months ago with dizziness that progressed?
Make sure you are drinking enough water. If the symptoms continue, I would recommend you see a healthcare provider for an evaluation and blood work.
Thanks
How long does it take for a bacterial eye infection to subside?
My daughter is very thin can you please suggest some weight gaining techniques.
If she truly needs to gain weight It is important to determine why she is not gaining weight. Does she have an underlying medical condition? I would recommend that she have a compete physical.
If everything is within normal limits, make sure she is getting enough protein in her diet. Exercise can help to increase her appetite and increase muscle mass.
I am suffering from extreme fatigue and tiredness. Can I consume health supplements?
Many diseases can cause tiredness. Diseases that may cause tiredness include anemia (low hemoglobin), thyroid problems, diabetes, high blood pressure, Vitamin D deficiency, fibromyalgia, different arthritic diseases, low testosterone, and cancer. It would be important to treat these medical problems before taking unnecessary supplements.
What could be the possible cause for the swelling in my face?
What causes high BP?
- Smoking
- Being overweight or obese
- Lack of physical activity
- Too much salt in the diet
- Too much alcohol consumption (more than 1 to 2 drinks per day)
- Stress
- Older age
- Genetics
If she has never had high blood pressure before and she has not had recent changes in her weight, smoking habits or activity level, the most probable cause is her higher irritability and stress level. It is very important that you figure out why she is so irritable and having erratic behavioral changes. It is important to monitor her BP on a regular basis to make sure it returns to her normal baseline, once her mood changes are corrected.
