How long do you have to eat soft foods after dental implants?
It depends on how much bone grafting is done in the area and how much torque the dentist is able to get on the implant when they place it. Typically 3 weeks though.
When can I chew after jaw surgery?
Depends on type of jaw surgery but typically 6 weeks of no chew diet followed by another 6 weeks of soft diet before you start getting into the normal stuff.
How do you sleep after jaw surgery?
Sleep with the head elevated with several pillows for the first 72 hours and typically upright.
Is cold water good for mouth ulcers?
Although may temporarily relieve the pain on the ulcers, it may not be good for sensitivity of your teeth. Might want your dentist prescribe you magic mouthwash to help.
