Seasonal allergies can effectively treated by using over-the-counter medication such as Claritin (loratadine), Zyrtec (cetirizine), Allegra (fexofenadine). These mediations can be used seasonally (3 month during the season you are affected, Spring March - May), or all year long. Some patients find that after about a year or two, they will need to switch to a different medication due to ineffectiveness of the current regimen.
