Landi F. Lowell, MD, FAAP, FACP is a physician board certified in both Adult Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Lowell (formerly Halloran) grew up in rural Michigan and graduated salutatorian of her class in 1991. She attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo on full academic scholarship, graduating cum laude in 1995 with a B.A. in Biomedical Sciences with triple minors in Chemistry, Dance, and Spanish. She did undergraduate research at Pharmacia Upjohn in Kalamazoo for a PhD who was researching metastatic colon cancer. She then went on to medical school at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, MI. She did independent research on kidney stones in Cystic Fibrosis patients and presented that research at the North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference in Montreal, Canada. She graduated from medical school earning an MD degree in 1999. After graduating medical school, Dr. Lowell pursued specialty training at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. She completed two full residencies providing in depth training in both pediatrics and adult internal medicine. She became board certified in adult internal medicine in 2004 and recertified in 2014. She became board certified in pediatrics in 2005 and recertified in 2015.
