Allergic Reactions: Allergies to airborne particles like pollen, dust mites, or pet dander can trigger allergic rhinitis, a condition characterized by inflammation of the nasal passages and sinuses. Chronic exposure to allergens can contribute to chronic sinusitis by causing persistent inflammation and congestion.
