Do you have fevers or pain? Ideally, the wound should be cleaned and a culture obtained to rule out a wound infection. The wound would also benefit from debridement to remove dead tissue and stimulate the growth of new tissue.

Should I go to urgent care for sudden hearing loss?

You should see an ENT physician and get a steroid injection through the ear and be referred for HBOT.

When does pneumonia become an emergency?

Pneumonia can be an issue if your oxygen level is low or if you develop sepsis. Sepsis is when bacteria gets into your blood stream.
