What has lead us to believe that we have to wait until Thanksgiving Day to gather as a community or a family to speak aloud about what we are grateful for?
Gratitude is a daily attitude. It is a choice to be thankful for all that is good and meaningful in our lives, despite changing circumstances.
Being grateful for what you have and all the abundance coming your way in the present and future promotes a positive mood, even amidst strife.
Begin your day with a positive affirmation and end it in gratitude of what you received. Be open, take risks, consider mistakes, life lessons, and failures as a change of plans. Live your life with purpose and confidence. Allow your hard work and attitude to bring you closer to your desired life one goal at a time. Move slowly and with a plan. If you fall down or get knocked down, reevaluate the situation, seek the support you need, refocus and start over, again, until it works out for you.
Sometimes our failures and mistakes lead us to our greatest insights about what we truly want and what really makes us happy. They are blessings in disguise. You control your thoughts and behaviors, which create your mood. Everyone fails, sometimes and everyone succeeds, sometimes. There is a new beginning or a much needed ending in either scenario.
Choose to rise up, work hard on yourself and your goals, rest well, surround yourself with supportive people and see all doors as potentially open. Sometimes, you need to knock more than once. Other times, you need to go to the next door, which may have bigger and better things waiting for you.
Keep on keeping on! Be grateful. Celebrate every little success. Focus on what’s moving you forward. Cultivate happiness. Use your energy to progress. Use your thoughts to motivate you to succeed. Rise to the top and bring all of your supporters with you. Make every day a day to be thankful.
