<p class="MsoNormal">Dr Hiserote currently holds board certification in Neuromusculoskeletal &amp; Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine from the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromuscular Medicine (AOBNM), Certification of Proficiency from the Osteopathic Cranial Academy (OCA), and is a Costin scholar from the Midwestern University &ndash; Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. His academic positions have included Adjunct, Assistant, and Associate Professor, with responsibilities that included Vice Chair and subsequently Chair of Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine (TUCOM)&rsquo;s Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Department.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Dr Hiserote&rsquo;s enthusiasm for teaching and articulation of osteopathic medicine began as an undergraduate teaching Fellow while at WUHS in 1996 under Dr Viola M Frymann DO, and continues to present day as course director and lecturer for the Osteopathic Promise to Children - San Diego, CA. Past faculty forums have included the Osteopathic Cranial Academy (OCA), WUHS, and the Southerland Cranial Teaching Foundation (SCTF) in their respective courses that support traditional osteopathy. Additionally, his teaching expertise has earned him privileged lecture opportunities in venues that have included UC California at Berkeley, UC California at Davis, as well as internationally in Paris France and Nagoya Japan.</p>
