I can say that Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine are my whole life. I use to see my parent's acupuncture practice when I was young, and I had acupuncture treatments when I was injured (specifically food stagnation, ankle sprain, etc.). That's why I am very experienced in the acupuncture field.
I started in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine when I was 22 years old, the year 2004 in Dongguk University of L.A., and I graduated in 2007. Also, I had my California Acupuncture licence, Illinois Acupuncture license, and NCCAOM. After I graduated from Acupuncture school, I knew my knowledge was not enough to see patients. That's why I went to Seoul Korea to learn more knowledge about Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture, and practice (internship) in Dongguk University Medical Center. After finishing my internship, I went back to Los Angeles and also had an internship in Jaseng Oriental Medical Center. I studied pain and rehabilitation, neck and shoulder pain, lower back pain, knee pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, migraine, stress, and emotional stress.
My practice style:
I am doing chuna manipulation therapy, which is a technique used to restore balance to the body's musculoskeletal system. After chuna therapy, I insert a needle in certain acupoints, and use electro-acupucture (if patient needs it). After the acupuncture treatment, I use ultra sound therapy or cupping. Cupping Therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being or moxa, which consists of burning dried mugwort on particular points on the body. Practitioner use maxa to warm regions and median points with the intention of stimulating circulation through the points and a smoother flow of blood circulation.
I am happy to help my patients. In the future, I can extend my clinic by hiring more doctors and nurses. So patients can get acupuncture treatments with knowledgeable staff.
