Dr. Aryeh L. Pollack is an established ophthalmologist and the founder of New York Retina and Macula Institute in New York City. He specializes in all facets of ophthalmology and has a particular interest in retinal, vitreoretinal, and macula surgery. Dr. Pollack earned his medical degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1995. He then went on to complete his internal medicine internship and ophthalmology residency in New York at Mount Sinai Hospital, located at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He also performed a two-year retina fellowship at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, which exponentially advanced his expertise in the study of medical and surgical retina.
Board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Aryeh L. Pollack also educates students at New York University as a clinical professor of ophthalmology. Furthermore, he trains fellows and residents in new surgical techniques at the Eye Trauma Service of New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. In an effort to remain up to date in his field, Dr. Pollack maintains a professional membership with the American Society of Retina Specialists and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has been honored with several awards and recognitions throughout his career, including Compassionate Doctor Recognition in 2014, On-Time Doctor Award in 2018, and Patients’ Choice Award in 2018.
