Swelling beneath the jaw would make me think of a salivary gland problem. Since it has been present for a prolonged period of time I would want it evaluated.

Tinnitus can be caused by several things but most common is caused by noise induced high frequency hearing loss. As far as treatment is concerned first it is important that you do not have a wax impaction of the ear canal as this can be a cause of hearing loss. An audiometric exam can best determine your type of hearing loss. If your understandingi is good a hearing aid may be of some benefit. Some medicine may contribute to your tinnitus so a drug review is important. Some people benefit from the use of a masker. A good ENT history and exam is the best first step.

Feeling of hair in throat?

It certainly is possible, if it persists I would want my ENT to take a
look,for possible foreign body.

Ear pain?

Most likely this is an acute infection of the middle ear {behind the ear drum}. An antibiotic and an antihistamine would be appropriate.

No problems with your participation in the orchestra, I would suggest an antihistamine and caution you not to get water in your ear.

Is tonsils surgery done under general anesthesia?

Yes, it is a short procedure that is quite safe.
