Acupuncturist

Katrina McLaughlin, owner of Intuitive Transformations Wellness embodies a passion for helping others transform their health and live their best life. Katrina grew up in the Denver metro area of Colorado and started her own journey to transform her life just after high school. Through the years Katrina has built her life around helping others through her integrity, intuitive nature, caring, and willingness to always lend an open ear to those in need.
Katrina's interest in alternative healing started in her earlier years and is something she practiced in her own life. In her early twenties, after taking an interest in energy healing, she received her first degree in Reiki, a Japanese energy healing modality, and has since gone on to receive her second degree as a Reiki practitioner. Her interest and passion for wellness, healing, and preventive care led to her interest in acupuncture. This has taken her passion and interest in helping people to a whole new level and she is inspired to help people awaken their own healing potential.
Katrina McLaughlin earned her Master of Acupuncture degree from the Boulder campus of Southwest Acupuncture College and her Doctorate of Acupuncture from the Pacific College of Health and Science. Katrina has completed a certification course in Clean Needle Technique, holds a CPR certification, completed an externship in sports medicine at the University of Colorado Boulder campus in the athletic department, an externship in geriatrics at Golden West Senior Living, and an internship at the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in Harbin, China. Katrina passed three national board exams, is certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), is licensed by the state of Colorado to practice acupuncture and is certified to perform injection therapy.
Katrina is the acupuncturist at Step Denver, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation non-profit organization in Denver Colorado, a member of the Colorado Acupuncture Medical Reserve Corps, a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado, former teaching assistant at Southwest Acupuncture College, Boulder Campus, and former board member at Hero’s Puppy For Life, a non-profit organization helping veterans and first responders manage their PTSD.
Katrina lives in the suburbs of the Denver Metro area. A true Coloradoan and athlete by nature she embraces her adventurous side by snowboarding, paddle boarding, hiking, camping, biking, running, and taking advantage of the beautiful Colorado sunshine and landscape. When she's not enjoying the outdoors you’ll find her inside curled up enjoying one of her favorite books, writing, or spending time with her family.
Reading "You Can Heal Your Life," by Louise Hay contributed to shaping Katrina’s experiences, who she is, and her desire to grow and reach new heights in life. Continuing on her journey of personal development she attended various seminars including Tony Robbin’s Unleashing the Power Within, Personal Success Institute’s PSI basic, T. Harv Eker’s Millionaire Mind Intensive, Blair Singer’s Sales Dogs, Cathleen Hight’s Time Management, and Rich Dad Education’s Launch Your Business.
