The movement of our arms and legs is because the muscles contract, and these muscles are the strongest of the human tissues, and both ends are connected to the bone by tendons. Skeletal muscles of the human body occupy 40-50% of the body weight, and there are about 600 in number, and the contraction rate is very fast, so it responds promptly to various commands of the brain.

There are many blood vessels in the muscles, and oxygen and nutrients necessary for work are supplied from these blood vessels. When the muscles contract, the contraction force is reduced by the accumulation of heat and the generation and accumulation of lactic acid, carbon dioxide, and waste products. This is muscle fatigue and should be restored with sufficient rest and supply of nutrients such as glucose.
