Migraine headaches can be helped, but the patient has to change their lifestyle, eg. diet, stress management, exercise, etc. The only headaches I have not had success with acupuncture and lifestyle changes have been cluster headaches.

I would try an acupuncture treatment once or twice a week for 4 visits. If acupuncture is going to help, you should be getting some results by then.
