Dr. Andre Manov is currently serving as the Program Director for the Transitional Residency Program at Sunrise Health GME, Mountain View Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada, a position he has held since 2021. He is also the Director of the Medicine Clinic at Mountain View Hospital since 2021 and a Core Faculty member of the Internal Medicine Program at Sunrise Health GME since 2020. Prior to this, from 2020 to 2021, he served as an Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency program at Sunrise Health GME, Mountain View Hospital.
Dr. Manov is a Professor of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism and Internal Medicine at the Department of Medicine at Touro University Medical School in Henderson, Nevada. He also is a Clinical Professor at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada in the Department of Medicine as well as a Professor at TCU Burnett School of Medicine in Fort Worth, TX. Dr. Manov is highly qualified in his field, holding board certifications in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism by the ABIM, as well as in Internal Medicine by the ABIM. He has also earned board certification in Endocrinology, Diabetology, and Metabolism from both Bulgaria and the European Union. In recognition of his expertise, he achieved a top 10% score in his Recertification Internal Medicine. Furthermore, Dr. Manov completed the Certified Physician Executive Degree, awarded by the American College of Physician Executives.
Dr. Manov obtained his Master of Science in Health Care Management from the School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas. He earned his medical degree from the Medical University of Sofia in Bulgaria, where he graduated as the Valedictorian of his class in 1984 and was awarded the Golden Hypocrates Statuette and Medal. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Alexandrovska University Hospital, Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, as well as at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in Bronx, NY, under the guidance of Program Director S. Garrison. Dr. Manov also pursued a Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetology, and Metabolism at Middlesex Hospital and Royal London Hospital Medical College in London, where he focused on research in endocrinology. Dr. Manov worked in a prestigious Laboratory in Middlesex Hospital, London, England under the supervision of Professor Bottazzo and for the first time described the expression of adhesion molecule CD44 on snap-frozen sections and cell cultures from patients with different autoimmune disorders and thyroid nodules.
Dr. Manov has made significant contributions to the medical field through his research and publications. He has authored 72 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has written 8 chapters in medical books. He is actively involved in research and has memberships in various professional organizations, including the British Diabetic Association, American Diabetes Association, American College of Physician Executives, and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Furthermore, he serves as a member of the editorial boards for several prestigious journals, including the Journal of Clinical Ophthalmology and Optometry Research, the World Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Reports, The Journal of Endocrinology and Disorders, and the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism. Additionally, Dr. Manov has participated as an acknowledged speaker in a 10-International Endocrinology International Symposium.
