Dr. Sondos Alsad, M.D.

Dr. Sondos Al Sad is a Family and Community Medicine expert. Dr. Al Sad completed her medical school in Jordan, finished her Family Medicine Residency and Master’s in Public health and Epidemiology at the University of Kentucky . She is a nationally certified menopause practitioner from North American Menopause Society (NAMS), which equips her to provide most current and up to date clinical service to women who are going through their transition to menopause. She is bilingual ; speaks both English and Arabic fluently.

Her areas of expertise include women’s health, minority health, cognitive behavioral therapy for non-psychotic mental illnesses, and health equity. Dr. Al Sad believes in patient-centered clinical research, so she actively listen to patients' concerns regarding their presentations and passionately seeks answers for them. Dr. Al Sad’s current research interests include women’s health, intersectionality research, and patient-centered outcomes and cost-effective interventions. She has presented her research nationally at academic and community conferences.

She is a leading member of many non-for-profit organizations that aim to serve community engagement, empowerment, and wellness.
