He is a well Experienced Minimal Invasive Surgeon who routinely utilizes Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery for the treatment of Urinary Tract Cancers, BPH, Reconstruction of the Urinary Tract for strictures or congenital UPJ obstruction, kidney stone laser surgery, and laparoscopic removal of large painful Kidney Cysts. He is one of a handful of surgeons in the United States who utilizes the Robot to perform complex “Intracorporeal” Urinary Diversions for Bladder Cancer with the creation of new bladders or urine conduits made from the small or large Intestines. How long is a hospital stay after prostate removal surgery?
Good afternoon. The hospital stay after a Robotic Radical Prostatectomy is typically less than 24 hours. Some of my Patients go home the same day after 4-6 hours of recovery.
