Dr. Igor Smelyansky is the owner of Omega Pain Management in Knoxville, TN. He graduated NYU Medical Center (New York, NY) Neurology residency, followed by a prestigious ACGME-accredited Pain Management Fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. He is the only physician in the entire East Tennessee area who is double ABMS board certified in Neurology and Pain Medicine. Dr. Smelyansky performs X-Ray guided minimally invasive interventional pain management procedures (epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablations, spinal cord stimulator trials, etc) and offers more than just traditional methods for treating chronic pain.

He has three boys and a lovely wife. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, traveling to new places around the globe, fishing, or just simply being outdoors with his family and friends.
