Anil Rickhi

Dr. Anil Rickhi MD has had a broad range of experience. In 2003, Dr. Rickhi graduated from the University of Calgary with a B.Sc first class honors in Behavioural Neuroscience. He then went on to complete his Medical Degree MD at the University of Calgary in 2006. Subsequently, Dr. Rickhi matched to a psychiatric residency at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After spending 4 years as a psychiatric resident. Dr. Rickhi developed an interest in primary prevention including Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine and matched the University of Alberta. Subsequently, during his residency he became a member of Doctors Without Borders and was deployed to Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India for 1 year during one of the deadliest outbreaks of Type 4 Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in 2012 where he worked as an Attending Emergency Room Physician. Dr. Anil Rickhi is also a Platinum member of the American Heart and Stroke Association and has his instructor certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Supoort (ACLS), Basic LIfe Support (BLS), and Pediatric Assessment Life Support (PALS). Dr. Anil Rickhi has memberships in good standing with The Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians of Canada, Alberta Medical Association, Canadian Medical Association, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the World Health Organization.
