Acupuncture treatment is through the needle, redirect the energy in the channel. People might have different reactions during/after receiving the treatment. Dizziness or sleepy are normal. Most of our patients fall asleep during the treatment. Acupuncture are very relaxing. However, if each session you feel extremely sleepy, you might want to discuss with your acupuncturist and see if a change in treatment plan is necessary.
