Sorry to hear about your symptoms. Do you have any vision change or loss of peripheral vision? Is the symptom constant or on/off? It seems like it could be a floater? It typically happens in people over 40-50 but myopic patients can experience it earlier. The color light could be ocular migraine without headache. Do you have h/o migraine? Pls see an ophthalmologist and have a full dilated eye exam to r/o any retina issue which could be less likely.

After 40 we become presbyopic(lost near accommodation or zoom in) that means the person will need readers or plus lens tta has magnification. In you case since you are nearsighted (myopic) you can remove your distance glasses to see near. Whatever works for you it should be fine. either bifical, progressive or juts removing you glasses for near vision. Good luck!

Make sure to blink and look away often from the screen. If you still have the twitch then go to the eye doc for an exam. Sometime it could be neurological causes for it.

If it feels scaly and dry pls apply vitamins A and D ointment which you can purchase from the baby section of your nearby pharmacy or grocery shop.
