Dr. Donald R. Gore is an orthopedic surgeon who retired from practice in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, in 2013. Dr. Gore has over 47 years of experience in his field. He is no longer seeing individual patients but is still available for medical-legal consultations. Dr. Gore specialized in all facets of orthopedic surgery and was particularly equipped to treat degenerative spine disorders. Degenerative spine conditions all involve a loss of normal structure and function in the spine, the cause of these changes is age-related wear and tear.
As an orthopedic surgeon, he treated spine disorders through surgery when a patient’s pain was severe, a patient’s symptoms did not respond to nonoperative measures, and when Myelopathy was present. Dr. Gore performed thousands of extensive spinal surgeries and adult joint reconstructions over the years. He has also served as a clinical professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. As a result of his compassionate attitude, patient-centric philosophy, and commitment to excellence in all facets of orthopedic surgery, Donald R. Gore, MD, MS, has been honored with a 2016 and 2017 Top Doctor Award.
