Smoking anything while you are numb is not advised. If you must smoke wait till the numbness goes away.
Retainer not fitting properly?
It should be seen by the dentist who is doing the Ortho, retainers are very important, without them you will have all your teeth shift back .

Depends on the type of surgery, it is best to discuss with your surgeon.

How often should teeth be deep cleaned?
The reality is that after the first deep cleaning, if everything is properly maintained, there should be minimal reoccurrence. With that said, everyone is different.

Look at it from an anatomical point of view. And infected tooth is in your head/skull and is inches from your brain. That should answer your question.

Many factors go into that answer. The more you do that causes staining the less it will last.

Simple, do they stay in? Can you eat? Do both left and right sides touch evenly?
