The usual time is around 20 seconds, but with already a clean mouth and with consistent preventative care, it is not an issue. However, with already diagnosed periodontal disease, that is a concern for the toxins in the area will start the eat away at the bones around the teeth, causing more problems. It is a cycle that needs to be maintained for optimal health. Plus, that also means other systemic issues may be at risk, too.

Hello. For invisalign, the optimal wear time is around 23 hours per day. So you are basiclaly leaving them in all of the time. However, it is advisable to remove them and clean them during those "down" times. Otherwise, there will be overgrowth of all sorts of things in the aligners. Hope this helps. Hello, surgical extraction or tooth removal, depending on numbers of teeth, should be taken seriously for optimum healing. The best solution is to let it be for at least 2 weeks, by which time, the gum tissue will most likely have covered up the site. It also depends on if the tooth socket was bone grafted. Standard today is to graft after removal. For that, it should be a lot faster healing time and also less major discomfort as well. Best wishes. As for eating, normal eating after the procedure should be ok as long as some common sense is followed..no wine, no cigarettes, no sharp foods, no spicy foods...ie...give it the best chance of healing possible so future restorations, be it implants or bridges, etc will give you the best results possible.

Hello : Without knowing your medical history and the history of the affected tooth, it is a high probably that you been having a systemic, chronic infection, that can literally drain the body. It is also possible that the stress level hormones in your body is elevated, given the severity of the the infected root canal. Usually with proper healing, you should regain the strength.
