What is Hematology-Oncology?

Iron-Deficiency Anemia stems from a lack of iron present in the body. Those with mild or even moderate cases rarely show symptoms. Those with severe cases may experience symptoms like fatigue, shortness of breath, and or/chest pain.
Hemophilia is a type of bleeding disorder where the blood clots slower than what is normal. If someone with hemophilia is injured, they may experience prolonged bleeding. This can also occur during surgery, so special care must be taken with these patients. The goal of managing hemophilia is to make sure that bleed does not seep in the muscles, joints, or major organs. The two most common types of hemophilia include Type A and Type B.
