Chiropractors treat back pain but most importantly getting to the root of the back pain. Now we are finding that by the time you have back pain more then likely it’s related to other things not working 100 percent in the body If it’s not accident related or injured. Chiropractors treat the nervous system which is the main system responsible for every function in your body. This is why many chiropractors like myself take a holistic approach to treating the body. In other words you can have back pain from a fall or everyday postural things but you may also have back pain from your stomach or your kidneys not functioning properly. In that case a chiropractor can recommend supplements after reviewing your health history along with adjustments that simply take pressure off of the nerves that have pressure on them ( non-invasive) to allow the nerve to function better letting the brain know the problem is being addressed. In short there are usually bones putting pressure on nerves that create back pain and we adjust the spine in a non-invasive way to remove pressure off the nerve so it can recover and all the tissue and organs that it’s connected to now get full blood flow and the back pain usually goes away. In more traumatic accident cases it’s more involved.
