As a board certified reproductive endocrinologist, specializing in the field of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART), it has been my life’s work to help build families. Many of my patients come to me with little hope and often misdiagnosis’. I have been influential in the births of more than 6000 IVF babies, and with 20 plus years of experience, many of my findings have been incorporated into treatment protocols from around the world.

It is safe. The anesthetic isn't going to affect it. However, healing might be an issue. You have to make sure the wound is properly cared for.

Not exactly. The doctor will keep an eye on your sugar level to avoid peaks and drops. Otherwise, diabetics do well with c-sections.

Not likely. This is something the doctor should be aware of and treat if necessary.

Pretty much all anesthesia types are safe when done properly. In your case general anesthesia is the preferred choice. Don't be scared, it's a routine thing
