Dr. Cordner completed his residency in Anesthesia at Monmouth Medical Center, is Board-Certified in Anesthesia, Pain Management and Interventional Pain Management and has been practicing in Sebastian and Vero Beach, Florida for over 25 years. Dr. Cordner is President of ASIPP and serves on the Executive Board of ASIPP. Dr. Cordner is on faculty as Associate Clinical Professor at Florida State University College of Medicine, and Board Examiner for ABIPP and WIP. He serves on the Board of Directors for ASIPP, FSIPP, is Past-President of FSIPP, and serves on the editorial board of “Pain Physician” and “Neuromodulation”. 
 
Dr. Cordner has published numerous articles, guidelines and chapters in several textbooks. He has presented hundreds of lectures and taught numerous course both nationally and internationally.  Dr. Cordner has a special interest in Neuromodulation as well as practice management.  
Pain medicine is concerned with the prevention of pain, and the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients experiencing pain. Pain medicine physicians use a broad-based approach to treat all pain disorders, ranging from pain as a symptom of disease to pain as the primary disease. Dr. Cordner serves as a consultant to other physicians but is often the principal treating physician, providing care at various levels; such as treating the patient directly, prescribing medication, prescribing rehabilitative services, performing pain relieving procedures, counseling patients and families, directing a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care with other healthcare providers, and providing consultative services.
