How long is the recovery for LASIK eye surgery?
Most patients are very functional the next day. The vision isn't perfect, but the majority of patients are able to return to work/normal activities.
Is laser surgery painful?
The surgery itself typically isn't painful. There is some pressure during the flap creation, but no pain.
Is there any cure for myopia?
No, there is not a cure. For younger patients, myopia control can be an option. For adults, glasses, contacts or refractive surgery can all be considered.

You definitely can, but you want to make sure you are using the appropriate drop. See your optometrist before starting any drops

Red eyes can be caused by any number of issues: dryness, allergy, infection, etc. when in doubt, schedule a visit with an optometrist right away

Contact lenses can help with myopia progression for kids. The contacts are very specific and must be fit and monitored appropriately

No special cleaning required before your procedure. Arrive to the facility with a clean, dry face--no makeup or creams.
